Festival stage performances
 23 August
7pm – 8pm   Ciao Turtle
Ciao Turtle is a singer-songwriting duo that is made up of Dennis Ng and Jared Chan. They play their own originals that listeners can currently hear on the radio, alongside pop tunes.
 8pm – 9pm Helmizar Kamal
Helmizar Kamal is a multi-instrumentalist and has been influenced by Indonesian music since young. Teaming up with his long-time buddy, they will be performing a bass and acoustic guitar duo that will blow you away.
 9pm – 10pm Yongkytown
Yongkytown aims to engage the crowd with familiar tunes that they can connect with and enjoy. From timeless classics like Fly Me To The Moon and I Want It That Way to contemporary hits like Simple Plan’s Perfect and We Are Young; they’ll be sure to get the crowd singing along!
 10pm – 11pm The Moon House
Acoustic duo The Moon House started busking in 2017 as they enjoyed meeting new people on the streets. The pair, National University of Singapore undergraduate Rachel Tai, and Laselle undergraduate Genevieve Tan, favours acoustic indie tunes by Foster the People and Vance Joy. 
 11pm – 12mn Nougat
Afif, Asaph and Tissany, sharing their love for music one song at a time. They constantly hang out to do covers for fun, from pop songs in the top 40.
 

24 August
 6pm – 7pm Yongkytown
Yongkytown aims to engage the crowd with familiar tunes that they can connect with and enjoy. From timeless classics like Fly Me To The Moon and I Want It That Way to contemporary hits like Simple Plan’s Perfect and We Are Young; they’ll be sure to get the crowd singing along!
7pm – 8pm Sasha M 
Sasha M is a pop singer songwriter. Her first collaboration released in April 2018 peaked on the Spotify Germany Viral 50 charts, coming second only to the winner of Eurovision. Sasha enjoys writing and performing music that is pop, rock, and dance influenced. No stranger to the Esplanade stages and particularly Voices – A Festival of Song, her last performance was in 2015 singing popular songs with vocal harmonies, in homage to her a cappella roots.
8pm – 9pm Mantravine 
Mantravine is a world electronic band of sonic sorcerers from Singapore that combines electronic and acoustic music into organic frequencies. Inspired by nature, everyday sounds, & human connections they love unifying dance floors with rhythms from around the globe, interactive improvisations and live looping.
9pm – 10pm Jan & Band
Jan & Band are a three-piece band that share the same passion for music. They jam to music of all genres implementing their style, making it their own. Look forward to singing along with them to heartfelt familiar tunes.
10pm – 11pm Fyrdauz Macbeth
Firdaus is an aspiring singer-songwriter who believes that busking makes the world a better place. He started busking in the year 2016 which led him to discover his love for music. He loves busking in the rain and portraying his feelings in the songs he sing and hope to one day perform around the world. He will be playing popular hits together with his good friends.
11pm – 12mn Amanda Tee
Amanda Tee teams up with vocal powers Zsa Zsa Scorpion and Sarah Yap to present guitar and vocal harmonies like you’ve never heard before. With their love for all kinds of music, they can perform genres ranging from classic ballads, rock songs, the mambo music and of course the most recent Top 40s with confidence and ease.

 

29 August
8pm – 8.30pm Marco Marcus
Marco and band comprise a guitarist, pianist and sometimes a drummer or cajonist. Playback is also sometimes implemented into their music. Their choice of music are mostly from the top 40’s, popular ballads, classics and some originals.
8.45pm – 9.45pm Fyrdauz Macbeth

Pls Revert, taking us back to the classics with tunes by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin. From swinging numbers to familiar, soulful melodies, join the band in bringing decades-old music back to life!

Words Within are an acoustic two-piece band that has been singing and busking since their poly days. The duo usually jams to the top 40’s and some oldies.
